Hall Tour
Hall Tour
Move in day is just around the corner and we are super excited for you to join the 4th East community! Lots will be going on during move in and we highly suggest that you review the Move-In and Orientation website for more information about specifics such as parking, directions, and orientation sessions. However, we have put together a few videos to give you a brief ideas of what your room, hall, and building will look like this year.
Each room on 4th East comes with one bed, mattress, chest of drawers, wardrobe, desk, and desk chair per resident. While the most common layout on hall is a double, there are singles and triples where some students may be housed. In the three videos below you can see that while the furniture in each room is exactly the same, the layout of different rooms looks different depending upon your room assignment. Note also that bunking beds and placing drawers under beds is a strategy often employed within these layouts to maximize floor space. However it is important to keep in mind that beds can be debunked by maintenance staff upon request. Feel free to review the videos below to see a few examples of different rooms on hall.
Next you'll see the 4th East hall lounge and Hall bathroom. The bathroom includes 4 sinks, 4 showers, and 5 stalls. Paper towels and toilet paper are provided by the school, however we do suggest that you consider bringing other essentials such as shower shoes, towels, and additional toiletries. Our lounge has a ping pong table, an air hockey table, board games, legos, and a real problem with echo (hence the noise dampening panels). Students will also have access to a microwave which is located just outside of the hall lounge.

Move-in Route
Finally I have captured a quick video of the path you will take on move in day to find your room and the check in station. While I have taken the elevator here, you may also opt to take the stairs which are conveniently located directly across from the door which you will enter.
